Our Founder Mr. E. Wayne Pedigo is the founder and Chairman of Healthy Steps, LLC. Mr. Pedigo has a long and distinguished marketing career in the insurance industry, having served as an Agent and Manager of Life and Casualty Insurance Company, a National Sales Manager for GALU and General Agent for Protective Life and Georgia International Life. Throughout his insurance career, Mr. Pedigo was recognized as a top producer and for his leadership ability, having sat on numerous governing boards. Mr. Pedigo's interest in nutrition and Network Marketing began in late 1993 when a friend encouraged him to buy a weight loss product and become associated with a public MLM company. In early 1994, after successfully losing some unwanted pounds and inches, he began sharing his success with others. At the same time, he began reading and researching the benefits of proper nutrition and the need for supplementation. In 1994, he decided to walk away from his six figure insurance income and devote his time and energy to helping others improve their health, and their wealth. Throughout that time he was a highly sought out speaker and recognized as an expert on such issues as good nutrition and building successful MLM businesses. By the end of 1994, and in less than a year, Mr. Pedigo quickly established himself as the MLM Company's Top Producer, a position he continued to enjoy until he left to open Healthy Steps in 1998.
